Thank you for your interest in becoming a Craigslist Delivery service provider. Before you being the registration process we ask that you read through our requirements and pricing structure to ensure you are a good fit for our program.

Definitions
As you read through our information you may encounter a few abbreviations and we want to make sure you understand them.
CLD: Craigslist Delivery
SP: Service Provider
GL: General Liability Policy (Insurance)
NYOP: Name Your Own Price

Recommended Requirements:
As we launch phase two of the CLD site we have become more interested in SP's who are licensed and insured. While we will still consider those who are not, priority will always go to those who are. It is recommended that if you are not licensed and insured your delivery rates reflect that (eg. lower overhead). Some customers who are more interested in price than insurance may be willing to work with you.

It is required that all CLD SP's provide a high level of customer service on all deliveries. This means confirming with the customer, being polite, showing up on time and completing the delivery to their satisfaction. Your performance is not only a reflection of CLD but also of your company. Word of mouth is by far the most effective marketing method and you should give every customer 100%.

During the application phase we will review your submitted information and confirm it. This means if you are listed as having a GL policy we will check to ensure it is valid. We will check to make sure your company is in "good standing" with your State and we will check third party websites for your reviews. Companies with positive reviews will get priority, while companies with poor reviews will not be accepted.

Pricing and Billing:
With the launch of phase two we are no longer providing one set of nationwide rates for all SP's. Instead, we are now providing two pricing options to the customer. Option 1 is your rates, a combined total of your delivery, travel and variable charges which you will enter during the registration process.

Option 2 is the new "Name Your Own Price" option. Customers will provide the specifics of their delivery and a price they prefer to pay. Assuming the bid is reasonable we will contact all SP's in the service area with the details and ask if you accept or reject. If you accept you are bound to the accepted price unless a variable(s) of the order change. If you reject we simply move on to the next SP.

As a fee for our service, CLD will collect 15% of the total from option 1 as a deposit. The remainder will be paid to you on-site at the completion of the job by the customer. For option 2 (NYOP), we will NOT charge you a fee, instead we will charge the customer a service fee.

Please note that once accepted your online profile is for the sole purpose of updating your rates and contact information. If you have any changes please make them immediately to ensure we are quoting the correct rates.
